Christopher Henderson

Christopher "Chris" Kevin Henderson, 49, Johnson City passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center due to a heart attack. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. Chris attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a great help to his father at Terry Henderson Landscaping and had worked in the multi-generational business since he was 14 years old. Chris enjoyed watching NASCAR races, rooting for his Pittsburg Steelers and playing with his dog, Lucky. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Irene Henderson; his maternal grandparents, Lode and Pansy Britt; a sister, Robin Britt Henderson and a niece, McKay Landry Henderson. Surviving are his parents, Terry and Peggy Britt Henderson of Johnson City; a daughter, Mary Ashley Henderson of Johnson City; a son, James Christopher Henderson of Elizabethton; two grandsons, Noah Parcus Henderson of Johnson City and Owen Tomas Henderson of Cumberland, Rhode Island; a granddaughter, Chloe Alyssa Kennedy of Columbia, SC; a brother, Jonathan Brian Henderson (Kristy and Madison), Alpharetta, GA; his partner, Adelicia Michelle Estes of Johnson City; also several aunts and cousins. A memorial service for Chris will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 211 Mayflower Road, Johnson City.
