Christina Ann Salas Church

Christina Ann Salas Church, 40, of Johnson City passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 24, 2015 in Elizabethton. She was a Johnson City native and was the daughter of Larry Dean and Anna "Susie" Cretsinger Church. Christina was a homemaker and attended Cash Hollow Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sylvia and Jim Cretsinger; her paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Bernice Church; her great-grandparents, Elmer and Anna Belle King. Survivors include her parents, Larry Dean Church and Anna "Susie Crestsinger Church of Johnson City; the love of her life, Jorge Salas; three children, Ethan, Yasmin and Damien all of the home; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service for Christina will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Rev. Greg Wagner and Rev. Buddy Cretsinger officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Other times at the home of her parents, 406 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
