Charles "Bubba" Vanhoy, age 32, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Johnson City, he was a son of Charles Wayne Vanhoy and Jessica Vanhoy, both of Johnson City. Mr. Vanhoy was a graduate of Science Hill High School and attended Central Baptist Church, Johnson City. He played the Viola, and played in the Science Hill Orchestra, the Johnson City Orchestra and was part of Central Baptist Church Orchestra. He was a caregiver for at least 10 years for his grandmother, and loved his dogs, Diesel, Kahne and Bella. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors in addition to his parents, includes a sister, Cynthia Vanhoy, Johnson City, TN. A very close friend, Eric Hamilton. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.wadugger.com.
