Byrl Lee Fann Jr. 46, of Johnson City went to his Heavenly home, Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Because of his faith and hope in Jesus Christ he met his Savior face to face. He was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and was the son of Rev. Byrl and Linda Keys Fann of Limestone. Mr. Fann was a member of Bethesda Freewill Baptist Church in Greene County. Junior graduated from Science Hill High School and was employed by Carmike Cinema in Johnson City for 7 years and the Dawn of Hope Workshop in Johnson City and was a resident in the residential services of the Dawn of Hope. He participated in many special Olympic competitions and was awarded many metals and ribbons. Junior was an avid UT Volunteer fan. Junior was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Niles and Anna Mary Keys; paternal grandfather, Byrl Jefferson Fann; also several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his loving parents, Rev. Byrl and Linda Fann; a very special sister, Tammy Baines of Greeneville; his paternal grandmother, Rosa Lee Fann of Limestone; a nephew, Matthew Baines; aunts and uncles, Ray and Janice Keys, Nancy and Tommy Luster and Bobby and Darlene Fann; a very special friend, Joseph Horton. Funeral services for Mr. Fann will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 1004 E. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City with the Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Graceland Memorial Gardens, 101 Graceland Lane, Afton, TN 37616. Visitation: Tuesday - 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM Services: Tuesday - 7:00 PM Interment: Wednesday - 11:00 AM Graceland Memorial GardensN
