Bonnie Marie Hyder

Bonnie Marie Hyder, 67, of Unicoi passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Unicoi where she had lived most of her life. Mrs. Hyder was a daughter of the late Robert and Viola Woodby Sneyd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Hyder in 2013; a son, Clarence William Hyder; three brothers, Bobby, Buddy and Bradley Sneyd; two sisters, Betty Smith and Betsy Morton. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Hyder and wife, Linda of Unicoi and Ray Smith and wife, Sharon of Johnson City; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Hyder of Unicoi; two granddaughters, Haley and Gracie Hyder; two grandsons, Brenden and Breden Hyder; four sisters, Bea Caldwell and husband, Tommy of Unicoi, Barbara Lyons, Karen Smith and Judy Street all of Johnson City; her favorite aunt, Bessie Hill; also several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Hyder will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor E.L. Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour. It was Mrs. Hyder's wish to be cremated. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Johnson City Medical Center 4th floor, especially Jeremy and Nicole, and to the staff of Life Care of Elizabethton especially Amanda, Pam and Angie for the wonderful care they provided.
