Bobby Wayne Miller, 60, 1834 Milligan Highway, Johnson City went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his residence after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was a native of Sullivan County and was a son of the late William and Lucy Smelcer Miller. Mr. Miller had worked as a welder for American Water Heater before his illness. He attended God's House Full Gospel Church in Elizabethton. He is survived by his wife, Judy Richardson Miller of the home; a son, Bobby Joe Miller of Johnson City; a special grandson, Justin Wayne Miller of Elizabethton; four brothers, Carl Miller and wife, Kathy of Elizabethton, Jimmy Miller, Bluff City, Guy Miller and wife, Tina of Kingsport and Ronnie Miller of Johnson City; three sisters, Evelyn Riley, Bristol, Martha Glover, Bluff City and Carolyn Kilgore and husband, Steve of Kingsport; a sister-in-law, Joann Brown and husband, Mike of Johnson City; a brother-in-law, Howard Richardson and his wife, Becky of Jonesborough; also several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the God's House Full Gospel Church, Stateline Road, Elizabethton with Pastors Jerry Davis and Lynn Bennett officiating.
