Barbara Ann Crain, 75, 131 Lovegrove Road, Telford went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 28, 2015 in the John M. Reed Nursing Home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Lenna Lovegrove McInturff. Mrs. Crain was retired from Baxter Pharmaceuticals where she had worked for many years. She was a member of the New Life Community Christian Fellowship Church in Telford. Mrs. Crain was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Crain Couch of Telford; a son, Scott Crain of Limestone; a brother, Jeff McInturff and a sister, Jeanne McInturff both of Canton, Ohio; a granddaughter, Alora Crain of Limestone and a grandson, Ashton Cole Couch of Telford; a niece and a nephew; also her dog, Precious. Funeral services for Mrs. Crain will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2015 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Pastor Mark Maxwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Other times at the home of her daughter, 133 Lovegrove Lane, Telford, TN. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 in the McCarty Cemetery, Telford. Pallbearers will be Gary Ornduff, Eddie Gillian, Neal Garland, Ashton Couch and Bobby Jack Holden Jr... For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
