Barbara B. Bales

Barbara B. Bales, 76, 4647 South Shore Drive, Orlando, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. She was a native of Unicoi County and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mae Snyder Campbell. Mrs. Bales moved to Florida in 1972. She had worked in banking most of her life. Mrs. Bales was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando. Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Bales of the home; two sons, Greg Bales and his wife, Tori of Davenport FL and Dan Bales and his wife, Claudia of Longwood, FL; a sister, Bernice Sluder of Clearmont, FL; three grandchildren, Erica Pierce, Candice Burkholder and Steely Dan Thomas Bales; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Bales will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in the Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City from 9:30 to 10:30 AM then go in procession to the cemetery.
