Amanda Kay Zaari, 36, 126 Milligan Avenue, Johnson City passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. Amanda was the daughter of Dennis and Sandra Coleman Hoilman of Johnson City. She was a homemaker and attended the Laurels Church of God. Amanda was preceded in death by an infant brother, Denny Hoilman. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Mohammed Zaari of the home; two children, Kayla Chavez and Joseph Chavez; a brother, Jeff Hoilman and his wife, Marie of Carter County; her maternal grandmother, Rosalie Tester; a nephew, Jesse Hoilman; a niece, Tovia Hoilman; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services for Amanda will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery, Elizabethton with Rev. Glenn Hoilman officiating. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37601 Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM then go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Wyatt, Bobby Tipton, Matthew Richardson, Daniel Moody and Dwayne Osborne. Visitation: Monday August 18 2014 - 12:00 to 1:30 PM Services: Graveside - 2:00 PM Interment: Lyons Chapel CemeteryN
