Amanda Michelle Garland

Amanda Michelle Garland, 27, 2701 S. Roan Street, Johnson City passed away unexpectedly at her residence Thursday, June 21, 2012. She was a native of Johnson City and was the daughter of Petrica Rich Garland. Survivors in addition to her mother include a son, Garrett Austin Jones; her step-father, Lester Tolley; a brother, Michael W. Rich and his fiancee, Angela Baber of Cliffside, NC; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Madeline Rich of Johnson City; an uncle, Clark Rich of Jonesborough; several cousins including Peggy McCoyle. Graveside services for Amanda will be conducted at 4:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the Cotheran Cemetery, Hampton. Pallbearers will be selected from family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM then travel in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home to help with the unexpected funeral expense.
