Wayne Ray Beam, 71, Johnson City went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 18, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Carter County and was a son of the late Elzie and Lois McKinney Beam. Wayne was a member of the East Watauga Avenue Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Clarice Crafton and Marlene Brackins; four brothers, Dewayne, D.L., Blaine and Walter Beam.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Broyles Beam; two daughters, Amanda Osborne and husband, Dusten of Virginia and Andrea Rasnick and husband, Travis of Johnson City; two granddaughters, Avaleigh and Libby; a grandson that is due in February; a sister, Emma Dean Hale of Johnson City; a brother, Glen Beam of Johnson City; his mother-in-law, Marie Broyles of Jonesborough; also several special nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Wayne will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Seviers Cemetery, Highway 107, Jonesborough with Rev. Richard Blankenship officiating. For those attending you are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 AM.
